Coverage and pricing
AADL coverage
We're an Alberta Aids to Daily Living (AADL) vendor. If you qualify, AADL covers 75% of the cost — or 100% for some lower-income Albertans. You may qualify if you have:
- Brown staining on the lower legs (hemosiderin staining)
- Venous eczema (stasis dermatitis)
- Hardened, tight skin on the lower legs (lipodermatosclerosis)
- Pale, scar-like patches (atrophie blanche)
- A healed venous ulcer with any of these skin changes

Trusted brands, the right fit
We carry Sigvaris and Jobst, from mild to medical-grade compression, in a range of colours and materials. We fit knee-high stockings, and your nurse will recommend the compression level that suits you.
That needs wound care before stockings
Open wounds below the knee — including venous leg ulcers — need wound care before compression stockings. Ulcers are usually treated with compression wraps as part of wound care, which requires a referral from your doctor or nurse practitioner.

Most pairs are $109, depending on style and compression level. A $25 fitting fee may apply.
Will AADL cover my stockings?
If you qualify, Alberta Aids to Daily Living covers 75% of the cost — or 100% for some lower-income Albertans. Coverage is usually for people with skin changes from poor circulation, such as staining, venous eczema, or a healed venous ulcer. Your nurse will check at your fitting.
Will my insurance cover them?
Many extended health plans do. We provide receipts you can submit to your plan.
How long does a fitting take?
About 5 minutes. A certified foot care nurse measures your legs and helps you choose the right stockings.
Do I leave with my stockings the same day?
No. We order your stockings in after your fitting and let you know when they're ready to pick up.
Can I get fitted during my medical pedicure?
Yes — most of our fittings happen during a medical pedicure. Just let us know when you book.
